Beleive it or not. there really isn't that much splash. I've accidentally left my fuel cap off on one tank or another. Get to where i need to go and the outside was still dry. I even went over donners one time.
The caps have their links on so no seperating from the tanks.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
I thought I was the OP, thanks for explaining.
Your not my current dispatcher incognito are you?JReding, Blackshack46, 88 Alpha and 2 others Thank this. -
What you propose to do (breaking deal and putting own lock) is called criminal sabotage. Punishments varies state to state.Last edited: May 30, 2016

LOL
That looks like a Freightliner cap too.
Doh,.. fortunately my chain is still connected to that little metal stopper. Plus I have regimented myself with a routine before I leave the fuel island so something like that will not happen.
HurstDave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
Older FL maybe.. the last 2 i drove were deeper and werent screw on caps.. just slight twist to lock in place.

Y'all say lighten up now, but wait til it happens to you. I've actually had someone slash two tires, and turn off the reefer just because they didn't like the company. Lucky for me I was parked in direct line with a security camera and I also have my own four camera system on the truck, so, the guy was caught and charged.
We all out here doing a job. Yeah, some are dickheads and park at fuel island while they shower, get their fatty burger with fries and diet coke, but ####ing with their equipment is going to far.JReding, Opus, Dave_in_AZ and 2 others Thank this.
