Any physical that you get on your own means nothing to whatever company you sign on with as they will all do their own test. Also, you will have to get a permit prior to going to any CDL program.

Okay you don't know what you're talking about you shouldn't be trying to give advice. Because you can't get the CDL Permit without the DOT Physical.

You are correct. I really don't know anything and yea, I did have to get a physical prior to getting my permit. Also had to get another one on day one at TMC. Thanks for the compass check.

Most trucking companies pay for the DOT test and most schools will too. Have to have a required DOT card with you and it must have the correct information on it.
