    I worked for SSL back about 93 or 94 and I thought the brothers were two of the crookedest SOBS Isherwood worked for. Maybe they developed a consience since then.

    Well I admit to being confused by that. As far as I know Don is the only one running SSL, I have never heard of a brother involved- just his dad who is retired now. Who is Isherwood? the Toronto construction engineers?

    Anyhow the company is primarily owned by the Murray group now, which means the overall management is fuctionally the same as all murray group companies now. Which is to say very fair and easy to get along with. SSL and GNT are both occupied by two types of employees, ones who have been there for years and have done really well and others who wouldn't be employed anywhere else but the oilpatch.

    93-94... wow that is quite awhile ago. You were here before the boom really hit se sask, it couldn't have been nearly as busy back then.

    I think dons bro was Trevor. Things are prob much better if someone else actually owns it now. Not quite sure how to take that "wouldn't be employed anywhere but the patch" line. I have tried the highway and never made enough to support myself. But in the patch I have money enough to make it even with wifey going back to school

    Can't say I have heard of any outfit sponsoring foreign drivers.generally they have to prove that there is no body locally with the required skills. And since drivers are pretty much a dime a dozen.....best bet marry a Canadian girl
