Drivers are assessed CSA points for most violations, along with the carrier. The driver's CSA score can only be seen by the driver, and any companies that the driver gives written permission to see their score for pre-employment purposes.

Correct. No inspection, no CSA points.

FWIW, when I changed employers, my new carrier never looked at my PSP score (I had 75 points at the time). All they cared about was my clean MVR and NYC metro experience.

Wrong. The PSP does not tally a CSA score. It only shows the infractions.

Right! One thing for sure. I'll never give one cent to see my score. That's another money racket.

I guess the OP doesn't understand how it works.

YOU DON'T GET POINTS FOR A VIOLATION UNLESS THERE IS AN INSPECTION WITH AN INSPECTION REPORT.

so this means ... in simple terms that if you jut got a ticket without a level three or two or one inspection of the truck, then don't worry about it.

If you knew you were losing your load, why didn't you stop?

The best way? Stop worrying about it. It will clean itself in 3 years anyway. The way the CSA program is set up the carrier violations cycle off once 36 months pass by. If you still have a job just avoid further bad inspections. In fact, if you can get a few good clean inspections they can help you and your carrier. There is a process, I recommend just letting it go. In the end, just drive legal and it will fix itself.

I'm going to exit this thread. There is a lot I could say, but choose to stay quiet. I'm sure there are others that will chime in. For me? I'm out of it!
