    Cool.

Tony got his but is coming home til Sunday. His trainer has a dedicated Wal Mart route and lives in Macon. Good news is he'll be home every weekend and still making the 'training' pay. Bad news is he has to wait til Sun to start making money so first check is going to suck...and it'll be on Comdata card.

Oh well. It's a job and it makes money. Maybe he can get a dedicated run!

It should help his chances of getting on a dedicated run. I know a couple people who got on one right away because their mentors recommended them for it.

    UGA79 Thanks this.

Did you talk to anyone before you left? You need to ask what to expect before leaving. I'd call and speak to the recruiter you had and get them to tell you something.

Call the terminal daily. Ask for driver services. Be persistant, nicely!

Are you going flatbed? if so then more than likely your going to be waiting a few weeks for a mentor and they just had you go home to wait. As mentioned, I would call driver services and see whats up.. If your not going flatbed, Id see IF youd be able to jump to a terminal to grab a mentor. When I was w/ my mentor we drove a guy to Cali to meet up with a mentor, or atleast thats what he told me, nevertheless, call...
