I had this to happen on a new Honda Gold Wing motorcycle. The rear wheel bearings were noisy. Dealer said it was normal and I would have to pay to have them replaced. I had them replaced to the tune of a little over $500, parts and labor. A couple weeks later I get a form from Honda to rate the warranty work. I called them and explained that I had paid for the work. They told me where to send the receipts. About 2 weeks after that I received a check from Honda for what I had spent, plus coupons for discounts on schedule service and accessories. The dealer that did the work, was not the dealer I purchased from. I'm sure Honda got the $$ back from the dealer.
