The best way in from 87 is follow 87 south go past Yankee stadium and take exit 2 make right off ramp and go over Willis Ave Bridge, stay in left lane over bridge and follow to 2nd ave. 2nd ave will run all the way to Houston st. Easiest way in for a truck

When I go to Brooklyn I will go over Triboro Bridge and take the Tillary st exit, to Flatbush. The brings you the the base of the Manhatten Bridge. It really depends on where in Brooklyn you want to go. You can also go over the Whitestone Bridge take that to atlantic to woodhaven to myrtle. It all depends where you need to be. If you give me an address I can give you a safe way there.

this bridge is an authorized truck route, I don't know the weight limit. It will be 80000 for sure since it is a nyc truck route. you can order a free NYC 5 borough truck route map for free by calling 311 in the city or 212-new-york from outside the city.
