Beverage places sometimes come out and check. I saw an older reefer being loaded with beer at Ft. Worth were the forklift went right thru the trailer floors. It was just past the trailer tandems. They load 2 pallets at a time(heavy) plus the weight of the forklift! and I guess the reefer floor just couldn't take it. I have had a Major Paint distributor come out and check and see if the inspection was current on our reefer trailer. Don't know what that was about.
ROTFLMAO! Ouch Bill. I just logged on and read your post. That laugh made my day and I guess I deserve to get ribbed about that for years to come. Issues? No, no issues. I cut the sides off to use it as a flat bed. Sags in the middle with no frame but I think it might work. Now if I can just get someone to haul a load from Chicago to L.A. for me while I finish scrapping the trailer, I'll be okay. Back to the thread. Since my 10 year old trailer is so well remembered, I'd say you may have some occasional issues with loads like paper but when it comes to low clearance bridges in Colorado, any age trailer will do. Reinforced concrete does not discriminate.
