All those posted are good for new drivers, depending on the drivers interests.
If you go with Swift, ask for refrigerated division. Can usually make more money weekly and also gives you experience for the future. Read Post #10

Swift is as good as any company to get started with. Again, if you can hone your skills, develop as a driver, and figure out how tobe an asset in their system, you'll make good money, they'll treat you well, and you'll think they're a good company. Mind you, it doesn't come over night.

    Chinatown Thanks this.

FIND THE JOB FIRST and then decide what CDL school to use. Imagine asking random single women what they like in a boyfriend, doing that thing, and then telling the woman you want to get exclusive with "all the other women said they like A, so you should also like A." The point of the CDL is to get a decent job. CDL school is just a small obstacle on the way to that job, not the most important achievement and the good job comes automatically at the end. The CDL school will tell you whatever you want to hear because they pay no price for training a thousand new CDL drivers that cannot get hired by anyone. You are responsible for making good choices for you, not the school and not the employer.

Every company is good for some drivers and bad for other drivers. It's like asking is this shoe a good shoe? Well if you have $20 for shoes and it costs $50, no. If it is 5 sizes too large but costs $20, no. If it fits what you need and costs what you can afford, then yes. EVERYONE wants a good job that pays the most and has good home-time. But EVERYONE defines "good job", "pays the most", and "good home-time" differently. So every company is good for some drivers and terrible for other drivers until they explain what they MUST HAVE, what they wish they could have, and what they WILL NOT allow, etc.
