Unless specified by the customer, we do not cover the exhaust. Unnecessary exposure for a driver to be climbing around 12' off the ground if they don't explicitly request it.

I do that because I only climb once to install, they come out automatically at startup and "stop the wind from spinning the turbo without oil" .

Covering a forward or sideways facing exhaust keeps the rain out of the turbo. It keeps the customer happy. It covers your arse in the event the turbo fails for whatever reason. Its not that hard to do.
