Getting my own authority :)

Don't let this talk on here get you down, while they are speaking from experience if its what you want to do try it. I started out factoring to keep going but I would slowly start weaning myself off of factoring as your business grows it is a way to stay afloat for a while. if you don't at least try you will always regret it. I use Saint John Capital for Factoring, they only charge 1.3% if paid in 45 days.

 

Get yourself a payday loan too. Just for the short term ...

What if you try leasing on with one of those power only companies just to try it out and see what kind of rates are out there. I really think with your own authority you would have far to much deadhead involved and that would be after already low rates. I think $2/mile is really optimistic. The ones I see are usually less but it could be my location. Not trying to talk you out of it. Some times Hunt and Schneider have power only moves but it usually comes with some kind of catch.
