I got pulled a couple times. Once as a company driver , wasn't able to get out of it . Had to show up and I ended up getting dismissed.. The other time was last year.. I was able to explain them I own the business and am unable to afford to take time off for this because I am the only one that runs the business.. I haven't gotten pulled since then..

I was called years ago, while living in Wisconsin, at the time I was driving nighttime line haul. As jury is daytime, I got the nite before, and the nite of the day I had jury duty. All excused. Got the stipend for jury duty, and company paid the difference for 8 hrs pay. I thought it was great! Kinda like a couple days paid being off.

Simply don't show up. Summons? What summons?

Got summoned for a DUI vehicular manslaughter case and court officials asked who has driven while intoxicated. Almost everyone in the room raised our hands and they told us we were all excused

Really, I think he answered his own question. All he has to say is the truth.

I told them I had a felony. Only time I’d ever been summoned. About 5 yrs ago. I actually thought because of the felony, I’d never been called. Guess I was wrong. Only 17 at the time. Still don’t know. Better to let sleeping dogs lay.
