He asked if he could bill the shipper or receiver. I agree he can't sue them for him not getting paid, but he can send a bill to anyone he wants.

    Concorde and Opendeckin Thank this.

What a waste of time and very aggravating. And probably doesn't have the money for the stamps.

I passed overpass in Chicago but pavement wasn’t even and I scratched the very back of trailer at the very end, only roof damage and they charged deductible $2500 and refused to pay rest of money, I threw them in collection, both owners and company but still looking to get paid I have original bills of landing

I’m looking for an advise, not for your criticism, if you have experience as truck driver I’m happy for you, I’m convinced you made mistakes as well, thanks for your opinion anyways

Well scratch occurred on a second day of work; I got fired 17 days after; I don’t think one has to do with another to be honest and they gave me another trailer and most of work I’ve done afterwards with different trailer

Write it off as a lesson in the trucking life and move on. Also most leases are a ripoff. Assume everything is the drivers fault.

No he can’t even bill them, he works for the carrier, not the shipper, the relationship is only with the carrier. He can only sue the carrier, the entity he has the lease agreement with, he worked for them only.

You could send a bill to the shipper and receiver he is asking about for the load he never was paid for. I could bill the shipper and receiver for the load he was never paid for. Anyone can send them a bill for anything. I highly doubt they would pay you, me or him that's all I'm saying.
