if you have a note from the doctor saying its okay for you to drive a cmv and take the medication you can have any legal medicine. However a company might not feel you are able too.

But like I said Im not going to need to take any anyway and if I did it would have only been a few days after the "surgery" not like a every day thing, that would be a definite problem!

There is a huge difference between legal and legal but disqualifying. Even if you have a legal prescription you might be disqualified to drive while taking it. There are some substances that are prohibited period in every situation. Then there are substances the FMCSA will let you have but temporally disqualifies you while taking it. All of this is in the FMCSA regulations and is clearly posted in some FMCSA publications.

Thats not how it works, there is nowhere to list any drugs on any of the forms for DOT drug tests.. The Person follows a set of protocols to secure and document a specimen. If there are any of the things that are being tested for in the specimen, it is between the MRO and the person who gives the sample. The company is only contacted if the person giving the specimen has no valid reason to have the said issue with the specimen. After that, the MRO contacts the DER (designated employee representative) and the DER contacts the people who are in charge of the employee and they are immediately removed from safety sensitive functions.

you don't gotta be a dick online to feel like a tough guy dude, if you read the rest of the post I said that I talked to the dentist and that doesn't require it, i thought it was intense enough to I've never had one before.

But anyway 4 root canals at once jesus brush your teeth!

Yes, it appears I am wrong about the chain of custody form, thank you for correcting my mistake. Its just I have been asked several times at collection sites for any prescription medications I have been taking.

Just trying to inform, no disrespect intended. I don't know even why any collector would ask. A: Its none of their business and B: Its totally irrelevant.
