Just so you know now theyre mandated to do more inspections. Also if youre company's score is bad youre going to get pulled and inspected quite a bit. Especially if the local douchebag in charge has a hardon and is shoooting for a promotion. My last job i swear we had an inspection a month. It was because the local douchebag in kentucky had a hatething for our company (we ran toyota). He even informed the company we couldnt run a certain run legally (me and my codriver did it all the time.. it was a 350 mile each way run) and made them relay.
Also got pulled by kentucky state troopers a couple times.. guy would walk up and say "relax guys i need to do a level one".
It's not that youre doing anything wrong.. you're just discovering the civilian world hates us.
BTW cops dont actually need probable cause to pull you. This right wing SC eliminated that long ago on the grounds that it is somehow a "priviledge" to use the public roads. If it's a priviledge then taking my ######## money to pay for them is a priveledge. -
I finally Figured out WHY SMD is being targeted in NEVADA only.....
He has failed to tell us about his lady friend in Nevada who just happens to married to a Nevada HP who had told all his friends about SMD's Company...
Had to do it ...cdreid Thanks this. -

I've been pulled over several times coming out of the Rio Grande Valley for no reason whatsoever. Never got a ticket. The only CSA points on my record was from one of these stops where I got a "Form and Manner" log violation. It happens. I asked several times why they stopped me and they said it was just a random stop for inspection. They were doing it again last week on 281 just north of Edinburg. 3 or 4 trucks pulled over in a 2 miles stretch getting roadside inspections. They also got in the trailer one time (no seal) and looked at the load. I assumed they were looking for drugs or something.

Knock on wood...but I've never been pulled over by DOT one time...and people dont seem to believe me when I tell them. I haul a belly dump for a local construction company but were all over the panhandle with jobs...pass DOT all the time and they dont even seem to look our way.
