No problem Bud..... I'll make sure you get one

Just about any commodity going just about everywhere...... seriously. 1 day hops all the way up to 4 day hops. Blaine is pretty much right in the center of it all....

OK.... so the gig is up!

A few of you heard I was leaving Magnum and emailed (my, how news travels), so rather than give anyone the chance to speculate, you are going to hear it straight from the horse's mouth.

    Yes, I am leaving Magnum.

But it is not about being treated badly, or any other negative concept. Just the opposite. Magnum has been fair and good throughout my entire time with them. And I have no regrets. The people that I have interacted with have taken care of me when I needed loads, or needed to get home. I got PLENTY of miles each week, and my paychecks were never inaccurate.

I will also say that there are a couple folks in Dispatch that I wish I could take with me. Although they shall remain nameless (for obvious reasons), they made it work for me. Period. I don't think they play favorites.... you simply get what you give.

So what happened? Simply put..... it's personal. But it has nothing to do with Magnum. Events have taken place in my life which required me to find employment a little closer to home. And as luck would have it, I found what I think will be the perfect fit for me. I will still be driving OTR, but I will be closer to home, I will get to be home more often, I'll still get good miles at a good pay rate, and the company is solid.

I start there on the 18th for orientation and if everything goes ok, I should have my truck the following Monday. But I will certainly keep an eye on this thread in case anyone has questions.

I will say this.... if you want to drive a nice truck with an APU, good miles, consistant freight lanes, and you like BEAUTIFUL scenery, give Magnum a hard look. Like every other company, there are things that can be improved. But I have no regrets....

I wish them all the success............

    MASSIVE ARF!!!!

I too have followed this thread from the beggining and I wish you the best of luck with your new employer. Are you gonna start another thread after you are secure (as much as is possible) with your new company?

I think it will be a good fit for you. Good talking to you yesterday. I'll be in Fargo tomorrow switching back into Tater (can't wait to see the ol boy), and then off to Kansas City I go. But I'll be back to Fargo in time if they decide to have you ride with me.
