A Driver can be robbed anywhere. I don't carry more than $40-60 on me, just for that reason. I also do my best to be aware of my surroundings. Like FriedTater I avoid high percentage areas(big cities) as much as possilbe. I'm lucky in one sense that I have the Charles Manson look or so I've been told.:biggrin_25511::biggrin_25511: People for some reason don't mess with insane folk. :biggrin_25523::biggrin_25523:

back when i drove for swift, i had gotten to the t/a east 20mins before a friend of mine. he also drove for swift. he still does. anyway, i was waiting at the burger king, and suddenly some people came running in, telling somebody to call 911. turns out, two mexican punks decided to try robbing him by pulling a knife. they tried robbing the wrong guy! he fought back, got stabbed a few times, but not before cracking the skull of one of the foolios. that one fool is now permanently disabled, mildly retarded. the other g-dawg is still in prison. his stab wounds were non-life threatening.

now, if it was me, it all depends on what i had on me. if they were wanting my laptop and wallet, and the items in it. they'd have to work for it. there's no way in hell i'm giving up my material items to some lowlife.

They can kiss my ##### and be ready for a fight. I am more than willing to dent my door if need be. I go armed, and don't carry over $50.00 cash at once.

I voted the tire thumper....and THEN I'd call police.

Although, I go nowhere at a TS without my husband...(except the ladies room...and that's a WHOLE other thread!! LOL)
