True! But occasionally I can't resist something in a truck stop. And when I reach in my pocket to pay I get this uncomfortable feeling of "highway robbery."YungTrucker Thanks this.

Last fight I got in I nearly got hurt! I am not in my 30's anymore. But I love it when you see same gang member start trying to push some old Ex-Navy Seal around.
Whoops.... That didn't work. Better start picking on ladies who carry a Springfield Armory pistol in their purse...
ICC...now you are showing your age. Next you will be talking about a Commercial Chauffeurs license.YungTrucker Thanks this. -
I would trust GOA. And what good is an unloaded gun? Whiskey haulers know all about this. Booze and Tobacco are two of the most profitable loads to steal. But someone wanting to steal my wallet at gunpoint.
That just make no sense.YungTrucker Thanks this. -
I didn't know you were in advertising!YungTrucker Thanks this.

The problem that I have against your kind is that you don't like freedom. You think that you know what is best for everybody else and they should do as you do. If you are too incompetant to respnsibly handle a firearm then that is your business. However, freedom states otherwise. More specifically the second amendment says otherwise. I digress though, you are prolly the type that thinks the constitution is outdated. I enjoy freedom. I take comfort in knowing that I posses the ability to protect myself and my family. Maybe you are not man enough to handle that responsibility and that is fine. That is why I like freedom. Because you can make up your own mind on what is right for you and I can do the same. So, just becuase you can't handle the rigors of real life, please don't push your defeatest point of view upon others.YungTrucker Thanks this. -
I find the whole gun debate rather funny. No clue why.
Look at what is happening on ships now. Sailors are not allowed to carry weapons on ships. So now we have poor people with a few guns and maybe an RPG or 2 taking over massive ships with crews that outnumber them 20 to1.
If the sailors were armed this would not be happening and we would not be spending billions of dollars in tax payer money to hunt pirates.
The same thing is happening in trucking.
The thieves have figured out that most drivers are not armed, and that it is fairly easy to get a big payday stealing a truck with a load. In most cases they have done there homework on the computer and pretty much know what is in that trailer before they decide to take the truck. Loads are tracked from shippers to receivers by the better ones.
They know they can get thousands of dollars worth of goods if not tens of thousands off one truck with little to no risk.
The government is bringing this onto us. It will get much much worse before it gets better.
And the excuse is always put on the driver. Assuming that the driver told someone what they were hauling. That is very very rare. I almost never hear anyone talking about a load unless it is a BS load. Nobody says they have a high dollar load on, we are not that stupid.
Also, many of the truck load thieves do not work armed, just with numbers. Because if it is not armed robbery they will not spend much time in jail if caught. Maybe a year max, with a possible payoff in the high thousands.Ridgerunner665 and YungTrucker Thank this.
