    "My kind????"

Your kind is so pathetically afraid of their own shadows that you require enough firepower to eliminate an army division to walk from the cab of your truck to the restroom at a truckstop in an empty parking lot at high noon.

    Wuss.

The Constitution and the Second Amendment are just fine the way they are, and so is your freedom to carry a firearm if it is legal to do so.

    Man up and quit whining.

So I am a "wuss" because I choose to protect myself against criminals? Ok? I am not afraid of anything....except spiders...don't like em. Being prepared is far from being afraid. I choose to accept reality in the fact that there are folks out there that would choose to do me harm. That is a fact, so I prepare for that possibility. Nothing more...nothing less. A 38 is hardly enough firepower to take out an army. I like how you blow things outta porportion. I don't pack a howitzer on the truck.

Phroziac yes the rules are different for the military. Also when going into a different country one is suppose to follow that country's laws. Canada is part of the United Kingdom and they have some of the strictest gun laws I know of.

:biggrin_25513: When I go into a truck I don't tell anyone what i'm hauling or where i'm going. Had an incident in Va. back in '77, some guy wanted to know what i was hauling & who I drove for. I was a newbe at the time & I was told to be careful who I talked to.:biggrin_25513:

You know your responses are more proof why people have such a unfavorable view of truckers out here. The man disagrees with your viewpoint so you have to resort to name calling? That's a classic liberal tactic.

Contrary to what Rosie O'Donnell and the mainscream media tells you, we do not walk around with enough firepower to wipe out an army as you put it. But I have a gun at home and will use to protect myself, my family, and my property. If someone tries to break in or hurt anyone he'll be begging me to only call 911.

You're paranoid too. Scared to walk across the parking lot.

Really I am? Wow so glad you know so much about me. Tell me when did you ever meet me? Oh you haven't... that's right. Yet you can make assumptions about me. Try reading my post... try reading what I actually said, not what you like to interpret. I think I said home. Since I'm not permitted to carry a firearm in the truck I guess that means I have no problem walking across a parking lot. Think before you type

Tell me what you would do to protect yourself against someone that would try to harm you. I'd be real curious to hear what it is

Maybe if you act like you have a pair, the "bad guys" would leave you alone.
