what should i check, think off, work on the have it a bit more easy ?

Let me figure it out my self if i like the states or germany more, Thats why i do this!

Ok, now i was at Federal Benefits Unit adn it will take up too 6 weeks to get my card.
I still need some help whit the stuff i should look for about Health insurance, sorcial security and so on.

I am still on Track and looking for this kind of work.

what is "401K Plan" and is "Medical Plan Benefits" like health insurance or somthing else
what does "Additional Life Insurance, Dental, Vision and Pharmacy Benefits" mean ?

Do you need more as one Insurance to cover your health related stuff ?

One other thing you might need are letters of reference (in English) from 2 people who have known you for the last 10 years, attesting to your good character. You will definitely need the clean criminal record report for the last 10 years. Maybe get 2 original copies of this report. Given that you were living in a foreign country, prospective employers or truck training schools can get a little funny when you are asking them for a job.

I did this process myself, coming back to 'Merica after being gone a long time. It was a difficult process but it got done. Most days, I still wish I was still there instead of here. Especially when I hear people talking about Del Taco being food.

 

You need about a lifetime of earnings for Social Security. When they pulled my records they went back about 12 years and added all of the quarters up. Then went against a matrix to see what I qualified for. I had at that time about around 20 plus years feeding social security so it was not a problem.

You cannot depend on our SSA now. In about 2034 all benefits will be cut 26% give or take across the board when their golden goose has been killed off. (Our Govt quietly emptied the SS trust fund and filled them with IOU's on paper back in the 70's not too long ago they put in about 3 trillion into that fund it's down to about just under 2 trillion and bleeding dry faster as more people retire faster and age. Plus many more disableds etc. (When I got put on that, were 6 million, now a days we are closer to 20 million) Medicare and so on takes two years. You will find that you will pay what they don't pay. (About 20%...) so if a hip joint cost 70,000 retail billing at the hosptials and all the doctors fees etc on paper, you get to pay about 20% of that bill. I had medicare with supplemental so that surgery was free for me minus a few hundred in copays. Its cheaper to pay for a new joint than to pay for rest of my life a nurse or nursing home when I can no longer move around freely.

Thats in American dollars. I don't know what the exchange rate against german money, but you might find it a shock. 2034 is not that far off. A little over 10 years. You might get something at retirement age. But it will not support what you will need in rent, food, family etc.

 

Waiting that my SSC arrives in germany .... they told me it takes up too 6 weeks.

You won't benefit from "life insurance" because you have to be dead for the policy to pay off.
