Nothing that would cause you to slide into a ditch. The problem is usually getting going in the first place in those.

WHY is it that drivers listing 0-1 year as experience always know everything? This driver w/0-1 year experience was not even there yet posts as if he knows what happened and inserts the words "I think" to not come across as another know it all driving school graduate. Truth be known,0-1 year IS the voice of experience and knows exactly what he is typing about yet portrays to merely assume.Drive long enough 0-1 year and you too will be a part of bizarre/unfortunate events. That driver is a fact regardless of how careful you are.those events actually define truck driving.

carry on 0-1 year experience and please continue to spread all that knowledge accumulated during your illustrious driving career that has spanned all of 0-1 year.

Getting stuck is considered an "avoidable" by the majority of major companies.

Anyone having a problem with it, should consider offering to pay for the next 3 or 4 "stuck" drivers tow bill.

Especially when the driver is the one in control of the vehicle. And not the company.

I guess working for this company and having learned about their policies and procedures means squat. Heck, I've even used them too. Owned up to my mistakes and tried to learn from them , where I couldnt I asked for more company training. DIDNT try to lay the blame elsewhere.

You didn't ask for time on that god forsaken SIM did you?

I hate that #### thing. I have a depth perception issue as is. And that thing is one HUGE depth "deception". LOL

I got stuck in the mud was a produce load from the farm itself. Dirt lot no one felt the need to mention they had record rains and had already had 3 other trucks stuck that week. Hit a soft spot and sunk to the axles. Tow truck got me out but the company didn't consider it an accident.

That's not a mistake, it's called experience because I can almost guarantee, you won't let it happen again. Kinda of pisses a guy off cause no one gave you a heads up. Nope they just let you drive right on out there. While I'm here tooting my horn here's one more tip. Do not let others make your mistakes, when it goes South you only have yourself to blame. At the driving job I have it is common to be put in what we call a "set up". Don't get an attitude just get smarter.

You're not kidding there. Definitely one learned the hard way but it won't happen again. Sad part is I walked the lot.....all except about five feet beyond where I got stuck. I decided to pull a little further up to get straighter and bam hit that super soft spot.
