Will do. Well they live with family so I'm getting us a place asap but we wana stay in fl. That could be my only advantage my friend said- wherever the dedicated run is out of in florida i can take it n grab a place there I'm only limited to that whole state.
-
Where do you live?
-
To be honest I don't live anywhere. My truck. My gf n son live with family in key west tho. I want to visit as much as I can n grab us a place in fl asap
-
But it's not like I gota tell a company I need dedicated runs that get me to key west a lot. I just need runs that get me to a decent place in florida a lot n ill grab a place wherever the opportunity is. I can't afford a place in the keys anyway lol
xlsdraw Thanks this. -
Give Heyl a call. They require 6 months. Ask them about the Florida/Georgia Fleet. You must live within 30 miles of Zephyrhills to get on that Fleet. They have been advertising that Fleet lately.
-
Can I tell them I'm getting a place there or they require ur mailing address to be there?
-
You would have to relocate there as they require you to leave the equipment at their terminal. I believe your home every other night. Relocating up that way there are many more employment opportunities than down south.
-
Yea I know it's scarce in south fl i dont see many big name shippers in the keys.. I might just go a dif route ups driver or sumthn do I'm home nightly n more opportunities for Florida as ups is everywhere

Roehl advertises a program for Florida drivers where they fly you from your home airport to the midwest where you pick up your truck, drive for three weeks, then they fly you home for a week of home time (the 21/7 program). Check it out on their website. Werner has something similar called the "Coach" fleet or something like that where they bus you to Atlanta, you do two or three weeks then they bus you home for a week.
