I have permission to park my truck and trailer at the Price Chopper near my house. I am the only semi that parks there. I have spent more time then I wish to remember picking up urine bottles and trash from the grassy hill next to where I park. I know I am not trashing the place but someone is. You can thank other trucks for causing yours to be towed.

If I thought there wasn't some collusion between the two parties, I'd agree. But companies that collude to screw others and "share in the wealth" is just wrong. And for some reason I can't help but think this is the case. It's the "job" of cops to write parking violation tickets to local delivery trucks in downtown areas, but that doesn't make it any less wrong.

    AceMatt Thanks this.

You may be right, but i wont speculate when i dont know the facts.

What i do know is what the OP has stated and not stated. He parked on a private parking lot to a grocery store. He hasn't stated if the owners were asked permission to park.
He hasnt said if he left info for the owners to contact him.
He hasnt said if there was any signs. (Or maybe he did)

With all that, I have too think it was a legitimate tow.

Now if there were facts that the tow company is in business with the grocery store, then my view would be different.

The fact that his employer is going to take it out of his paycheck and not his settlement leads me to believe that he isn't an O/O.
