And he could ask hireright to remove the negative mark. Then hireright will contact you and you HAVE to prove he abandoned the truck. If you cant prove it, the mark is removed. Sure, its a lot of work for him. In the end, he still has his morals. Its not abandoned if he parked it there on home time and had every intention of going back and working. Sure he f'd up, charge him with the tow bill and move on. Stop trying to incarcerate the guy and putting false blemishs on his dac. You wont have many employees for long if you are that dirty.
Understood. However, private property trumps a driver's need of parking. If I were you, I would've told this "code enforcement" whoever where to go.
Your truck getting towed won't land you in the clink, as opposed to what someone here had to say, but this statement very well could.
I mean can i challenge that? All the residential roads in town say no truck over 1 ton. That's the only reason i didn't have it in their driveway this time
You live on the street. You have a valid reason to be there. Just passing though, on the other hand, is another matter.
You can ask your township if you can drive on the roads directly to and from the house. Being sure to park completely off the road. I lived in a development with a 5 ton restriction. Called the township and asked if i could park at my house via the 5 ton road. I was granted access.
