Lots of faultless drivers in this thread. Most parking lots have a dozen or more vehicles in them at any given time that aren't conducting business inside.
Like none of you have ever parked at a truck stop and left it over a Christmas or thanksgiving. Really? SMH -

I have parked for shorter periods of time at places I know I shouldn't be parked though. Had I been ticketed or towed I wouldn't be on here complaining, I'd pay it and that would be it.
I feel bad for the OP but he should have known the risk. -
Correction. I got a parking ticket for sleeping in the Meijer parking lot in Woodhaven MI. But, in my defense, there were no signs visible from the driveway I used to get in. First solo trip for Swift, so I was beyond broke, therefore couldn't afford to park at the J.

For future reference....
There is a rest area on 275, and of course the Swift terminal both about 15 miles from there. -
