That was then. Today's solution is to rig a 10 ton tow find the tractor and stake that tractor in the mud using it's hydraulic wheel tire age pointed into the ground to move it 8 inches pull the stakes, bore em into the ground for the next pull. If your going to use wood? Go to a sawmill and get some thick oak 3 or 4 x 12
