Another important step is to keep the trailer maxis charged until the drums cool down, or usually till your air pressure drops. (frozen trailer brake are a pain)

I got stuck years ago after delivering at clients with downhill docks; many of this places are a pain if the surface is icy or snow covered; after i was empty and light no way to move out; i keep a bag of salt, shovel and a pair of double chains in winter time .

Yeah. Someone broke my leaf spring one time using a chain when he dumped the clutch.

Chaining up is the best way to get unstuck. One trick I have used several times is to use flattened boxes for traction, you can stuff them right into the ruts and fill them up. It can take some time but it will eventually work.

I work oilfield so getting stuck is all in a days work, I am also a lazy ####### so I bought a set of singles and if i get stuck I just throw em on a single tire and in winter its usually all you need, but for the extra lazy days I keep a bucket with some gravel on my trailer (you may not have anywhere you can keep a bucket) and just sprinkle it on your tires and roll away....... If neither are an option and you get stuck rock it with the clutch gently, never reef on it rough cause youll rip your driveline, if it spins try starting in a higher gear so theres less torque like 3Lo, I sometimes pop it in reverse-hi and plow backwards that way, if none of that works....... your ##*@ed

    Yea they've covered it.
Chains, Rocking back and forth (gotta do it FAST)
making sure you park with cool brakes and make yourself some ruts.

Don't drive on the deep drifts in parking areas.

This lady tried to back out because she couldn't go forward. We were stuck for an hour.

She's totally hooped and don't try to pull someone out when they're in that deep. You'll damage your equipment.
