Glad you are happy with Giltner! It just caused a divorce for my husband and I after 14 years of being at Giltner. They will start slowly stealing your settlement money until you are in the hole with them and no getting out. Each settlement will be less and less. Then no money.Don't even ask Kris the bookeeper for any. They expect you to run your ### off and not have a dime to send home to support your family.I would not recommend this company to anyone! Hope it all works out for you but when you see your settlements going smaller and smaller get out while you can!
timetocallit Thanks this. -
If you've got proper documentation for all the loads they owe you for, the Labor Board should jump all over them and get you your money. Been there and done that (with another company). No reason for you not to get what you have coming unless you don't take the proper steps to get it!

Are you sure hubby was telling you the truth?
I've never heard anyone saying Giltner dug into their pockets.
doesn't mean it doesn't happen, but divorce...just saying... -
How did the company cause your divorce? Sounds like there were other issues just sayin'

Funny stuff these guys. If you can't get enough of the I-5 corridor. This is your new home. The trucks are governed at 69mph on cruise, 67 on the pedal and they have 74mph on a double tap on the pedal for 1 hour in a 24 hour period. They got me no miles for 2 separate weeks in one month because a dispatcher corrie Was a snake who couldn't own up to his mistakes. And the 2nd time was when the transmission blew in Medford Oregon, because their shop wouldn't PM B-level the truck even though according to their shop was 4, 000 miles overdue, and they didn't catch the pinhole leak in the transmission cooling line, which they would've if they did their job. So they got me a rental car that I was able to use for the week which I was originally told to use to come to jerome for another truck to use but an hour after I got the car I was told to stay put. 7 days later the truck was fixed but I blew out my knee. So now they are unhappy because they are stuck with a $2000.00 car rental bill. I'd say we are even. After 18 years of driving I quit (happily) because all of these companies are full of ###### and could care less about you. It is what you are willing to put up with. I am a broker now and make better money. If you figure $700.00 a week divided by 70 hours. That is $10.00 an hour. Now by normal employee standards it would be time and a half so it is now $700.00 divided by 84 hours, that is about $8.14 an hour. It isn't worth the B.S. for $8.14 an hour. Think about it. That kid working at the subway shop at the Love's is making more money than you. And gets to go home every night. Good luck all. I'm finished.
