    So it sounds like it's not very common for a driver to give a notice. Does this mean that a lot of truck companies are willing to overlook that you didn't give some type of notice to your previous company?

    You wont believe it, but sabotage is a real possibility in the old days from some really seriously bent drivers who quit or were fired. usually after loud yelling in the back office.
