I appreciate it, it never occurred to me to ask until I was delivering my backhaul into the general DFW area. All in all, communication is still waaaaaaaaay better here than at Crete(on their best day).

In my first month here I'm running the full gambit of possibilities. 1st load, a multiple backhaul to get back to GP, my 2nd week, truck in shop and loaner truck, now my 3rd week I picked a 5 stop M&P load that starts north of Chicago and finals in the Detroit area....it was that or my choice of Laredo's, a Houston, or a Dayton, TX...and I'm still smiling after 3 weeks...a new snackbar record!!!!!

Things will continue to get better SSB. It took me a couple of months to get everything down fairly well so I wasn't screwing myself out of miles.

Finished up my 6 dropper in Galesburg, MI this morning and got a backhaul picking up in Archbold, OH. Probably won't be done until my hours are up today but that is ok as it delivers back in GP on Friday and I have the hours to make it back there by Thursday afternoon. Probably going to try and t-call it and be ready to roll with something good on the outbound side for Friday morning. Been out 42 days now and may just stay out another couple of weeks just so I can make sure I am back home for Halloween with my daughter.

Decided to help out on the last Target drop which was only 6 pallets but on Target time that is at least 1.5 hours. I got escorted to the dock and someone got right on unloading. I just took the wrapping plastic off and a couple of other things and I was out of there in 15 minutes. Going to be my new policy I think in dealing with Targets from now on.

I think u guys are getting treated way too well and could become spoiled. I think you u all should go back to Crete before u get too soft.

:biggrin_25522: I almost thought about it. I got a call, voicemail, text message, and a email from Steve at Crete wanting to know if I was interested in coming back. I should call him and say I'd rather wipe my butt with sand paper soaked in alcohol than go back. I like it here, making good money and having fun with less headache.

Any of you Poly's run across I-10 eastbound in FL yesterday? Saw three of ya....the last one in what appeared to be an older (kind of faded) Columbia.
