Well sitting here in FW getting 45K lb. of dog food off the trailer before heading back to the terminal. Picking up my first multi drop mom and pop load tomorrow which finishes off in my other home of Durham, NC. Going to take the truck by the shop tonight and see what kind of time frame I can get on getting my problems worked on. May have to switch to a loaner truck if they can't take care of them over night as I really need to get some of the issues fixed before rolling on with it.

Hoping the weather holds out for a good Halloween in NC as it looks like some ###### weather is headed for the east coast over the coming days.

I think what we were told a month or so ago in orientation that about 23-25 people had left from the beginning of the year and about half of those were folks that had retired. I think we are also expanding a little bit and perhaps going back to delivering Home Depot loads again but that might be just a rumor.

I was told pretty much the same thing. No mention of the Home Depot deal but expanding about 15 more drivers. Also supposed to be some more new trucks coming in. I heard it was about 100 of them. Most to replace the older trucks in the fleet. :)

They talked like they were getting away from the Freightliners for now. Guess the new ones are ProStars. Sure wish they wouldn't buy them with the grey side skirts. They look much better when they are the matching red color. I wish I didn't have to give up the new Peterbilt I drive now. I love to drive a new vehicle. Hard to give them up. ):
