Glad i'm not starting out with Knight transportation

Who was the safety guy, Brad Hart by any chance? Knight was extremely thorough when they hired me, even kicked back one of my personal references because questions were not answered to their satisfaction. Definitely the most demanding orientation I ever attended, with the driving around in the van and using the Smith System and all, just saying.

 

Indeed it was a blessing.

I came back home and a few weeks later, got a local job with the Teamsters , with 0 experience at all. I have never spent a single night away from home because Knight sent me packing. Four years later, I've got no regrets. I made my bones and make the cash to prove it. As to whoever asked about the safety manager, I don't know what that dude's name was.

I know they didn't turn me away because of the drug test. I very clearly explained to them at the time of the drug test, that I only smoke "legal buds," salvia, and bath salts. DOT has no regulations against this. (joke.)

 

I don't know, watch, follow, listen to, or like any of them.

Yep pretty odd the 3 guys who pushed the company hard and got close with managment and everything all quit the same time. All 3 of those guys walked around those offices like they owned the joint now they are leaving.
