Glad i'm not starting out with Knight transportation

Lol, those are 10 minutes you'll never get back.

 

Who was the safety guy, Brad Hart by any chance? Knight was extremely thorough when they hired me, even kicked back one of my personal references because questions were not answered to their satisfaction. Definitely the most demanding orientation I ever attended, with the driving around in the van and using the Smith System and all, just saying.

 

Indeed it was a blessing.

I came back home and a few weeks later, got a local job with the Teamsters , with 0 experience at all. I have never spent a single night away from home because Knight sent me packing. Four years later, I've got no regrets. I made my bones and make the cash to prove it. If you look at some of my first posts on this website, you can trace my career progression from complete newbie to a skilled fuel hauler..

As to whoever asked about the safety manager, I don't know what that dude's name was.

I know they didn't turn me away because of the drug test. I very clearly explained to them at the time of the drug test, that I only smoke "legal buds," salvia, and bath salts. DOT has no regulations against this. (joke.)

 

I don't know, watch, follow, listen to, or like any of them.
