Parking your trailer in a secure lot i the best. No matter the trailer glad hand locks can be defeated simply by changing out the trailer glad hands. King pin locks are childs play for knowledgeable thieves. GPS tracking is good but again can be rendered useless by thieves. Best bet may be to use all 3, as the glad hand and kingpin locks will at least slow them down enough where they might attract attention. Parking in a well lit are with a lot of people coming and going may help too

How about a wheel boot, like what happens when you have too many parking tickets?

If you use a kingpin lock that uses an abloy core you'll at least not have to deal with picking since they're pretty much pick proof. As mentioned prior you can just put a new glad hand on in a moment, but the king pin is rather hard to swap out, and they'd need a grinder for a good kingpin lock. GPS in a tail light, or hidden well would also serve you well for the money.

A heavy wrecker renders any of those locks useless

i crawl under the trailer and crank the brakes down as tight as possible then weld them. Even a wrecker is going to have trouble taking it if the wheels don’t turn:)
