I add Spray-9 to the washer jug. It helps cut the bugs big time and doesn’t foam up like soap.

When I carried my dog with me I carried a 1.5 or 2 gallon pump-up garden sprayer I could wash the dog with if she ever got into something smelly and gross. I also could use it to wet a collapsing pole squeegee to clean the windows. Every place I stopped could be a "fuel island" in one sense.

Clean your windshield good, then do a couple applications of rainx. Makes cleaning bugs after much easier.

When the bugs get the worst.. I would just climb up and scrape them off with a razor scraper... the just wipe them down with regular glass cleaner.. takes a lot less time a gallons less cleaners.. also if you can find a laundry supply house, buy some "glass towells".. wash and reuse them

Use a plastic pop bottle cap or a plastic Gatorade bottle cap as a scrapper to loosen up the bug guts, then squeegy off the windows. Of course you have to climb up on the front tires to do each side.

Wet with truck squeegee, then spray the ammoniated foaming glass cleaner. Let sit 2-3 min. (Finish fueling), scrub witg sponge side, wet with truck sponge, squeegee mostly clean

Mix your own squirt bottle with some vinegar, ammonia and a couple drops of dish soap.

If you don't mind climbing up on the steer tires and frame rails, a dobie is the best bug scrubber you can get.

I carry a little bottle of Dawn dish soap and if the windshield is desperate for a bath and its plain water in the bucket I’ll put a shot of the plain blue Dawn in it. Ive been carrying the same little bottle for probably 2 years so it lasts a long time.
