Canada must've finally changed their laws. I don't keep up with Canadian laws because if you need a passport I won't go there. Thanks for the update.

My current trailer has been to the shop twice to get the ABS fixed and it hasn't been fixed yet. The first time, the shop Fleet Net sent me to didn't even have a reader up to date enough to read the codes. The second time, Madison insisted it was all perfect...until I hung a left out of the gate and the light came back on. I have a shop record now that says I attempted in earnest to get it repaired. If Maverick wanted it fixed, it would be fixed. I'm not losing another day's pay or sitting in a lounge on my 10 hour waiting on a repair that may or may not last until I get to the nearest on ramp.

Sounds like a mis-adjusted bearing, but what do I know.
Been there done that. Love spending my 10 hour in the lounge getting some quality rest. LOL

Yes, you have much more to worry about than I do, truly. My thoughts and prayers to you and you your son, hoping he comes homes very soon and safely.

They did adjust the two right side sensors, but something got overlooked. The truck wasn't test driven (my gps trails showed no activity while in the shop). I don't know if they test drive or not when a load is on the trailer. It's difficult to find the right time to visit the shop knowing that it's money out of my pocket to do so.

My brother in law gets paid $25/hr every hour that he's broken down. If Maverick did that at any level of compensation, the quality of the shops would be forced to vastly improve. They currently have no real incentive and it's driving the quality of the shops down, IMO, of course. Imagine the maintenance supervisor being directly responsible for the time clocking in and out by driver's going through his shop for repairs. HQ should relish the opportunity. They can hire another bean counter to monitor the statistics.

Can driver's abuse it. Probably. That's another rant.

See how easy ranting just flows from my fingertips. I have to intentionally stop myself or I'd just keep going on and on. $%@#$%, I just did it again...

Life is full of "if". It has "if" in the middle. Rearrange the letters and you can learn French "Le if". Do it some more and you have Spanish "El if". "File" it away and you'll just get it backwards. You just learned three languages: French, Spanish, and Accountant. How does it feel to be multilingual?

No. One of us around here is a chronic pessimist. If I told you I was blonde, wouldyou think evryone was blonde? Of course not. You will read about issues they are personally having, but its just that, personal. The good greatly outweighs the bad, but doesn't ever get mentioned as much because of its nonissue nature.
