Had to stop off at the TA in Springfield, MO to get a trailer tire replaced. Two things really chap my ### on this deal. 1. The driver that droped this trailer and didn't call it in, thank you jack wagon!2. Mavericks poloicy or lack of poloicy. Why would you load a trailer with bad tires or burned out lights? And if you are maybe you could give the driver a heads up on the work assignment. Driver, allow 4 extra hours on delivery to fix trailer.

I am sure you saw the fleet message....Maverick is going to be tracking it and taking action. The complaints have been heard!

Man I hope so. But check this out. Last week I picked up a trailer in TX, replace a tire and took it to OH. Three days later I pick up the same trailer in IL. So sometimes it comes back to you. I'll just keep dropping my trailers in good condition and hope it catches on.

Hmm, went in for the trailer ABS problem again. This is the fourth visit. Now maintenance thinks it's "heat related". For some reason I start my truck and it just starts heating up until it goes bad even if I'm not moving. Oh well. I did find out that if you turn the ignition on, wait for two clicks, and tap the brake three times the trailer light will expose any codes. Bad news is that I haven't got that to work again. I don't know if it's more maintenance BS or not. I think the plaque on the front of the trailer has instructions, but I haven't read it yet...mostly because I just reminded myself of it just a few seconds ago......

ABS brake problems alot of times are caused when you have dirt or something on the sensor. Something may be wedged in there like a stone or piece of rubber.

After a total of 5 times in the shop (once to a trailer shop), I would hope that debris is not the problem. But, it's on them. I'm the driver, not the technician.

I wouldn't think so either, but who knows. I guess this is the diferance between flat bed and glass. You guys the keep the same trailer much longer. We change trailers every couple of days. So you are stuck whit the same problem and I get news ones from time to time.

I usually only keep a trailer long enough to get everything fixed, then a do a preload!.....lol
