So far so good. Passed my physical test this morning, nothing to it. If you are in decent shape, pay attention and take your time you will do fine. Our orientation instructor scotty is strict and very good at what he does. Stay on his good side and that too will keep you in the game.. tomorrow is road test, I know what not to do so I should be fine...

Attitude is 90% of the game, abilities 10%. Seems like you will have no problem in either category. Just remember to get your chores done before you go to town (or walmart as the case may be). I saw guys take off after class everyday to get something to eat and stop at wally world. Then they would stay up half the night trying to get their homework done. These are the guys that will be walking around like zombies, falling asleep in class and unshaven. It's simple time management, well not so simple for some people.

Keep up the good work Steveo!

Graduated yesterday. Well evaluated out as they like to call it here at Maverick. This all took place in Laurinburg, NC because I'm in the glass division. Transportation guys eval-out in Little Rock.

The final evaluation consists of having all your paperwork in order from your on the road experience with a trainer. Then taking a written test that's all open-book. You have two trip planning exercises along with logging. The test normally takes 4 hours, but there is no time limit. The only difference in Little Rock that I know of is you also have to drive the simulator.

I'll get my truck today. They were having it serviced and detailed yesterday. Hope to get moved in and under a load today.

Got a good luck at the new truck today. It's a 07 Freightliner Columbia with just over 300K. Has the new style Qualcomm and looks pretty good. The didn't finish all the maintenance on it so I'm in the hotel for the night. Hopefully I'll get moved in tomorrow and get a load.

Passed the road test today. Nothing to it! Being safe is all they want to see. Met my.first black hat in the drivers lounge. That guy was Sharp...

Glad to hear it's going well. You are almost to the point of getting a job offer! How many students are in your class?

We lost 4 out of 25 and 1 is walking a thin line, he won't make it much longer. Careless attitude.
