I remember reading about glider kit regs maybe two years back, the govt goes back and forth on it depending on who is in charge in the white house and congress, etc. Like pavrom said they have a reputation for reliability, like Long FLD said you are unlikely to have issues/get caught as a 1 truck operation even IF it's illegal. I once worked for a regional LTL that is now outta business, they operated nothing but gliders and had an entire boneyard out in PA for replacement parts, etc.
You really wanna think about what's it being used for and where is it going?
