The financial liability on Jack Cooper's part may have caused Ford and GM to drop them. Especially when not long after exiting bankruptcy Jack Cooper bought Moore Transport and even put in a bid for Yellow Corp later while cutting pension costs...sad to see them go. Unions have set the floor for wages in the past now what purpose do they serve??

I am a Teamster at heart but I am in business to make the most money for the least amount of work and currently that is non union. It was union for me the first 27 years. Don’t even think about working for UPS or Cassens without a Union or many other companies. So yes there is definitely still a huge need for unions in my opinion.Dennixx, EvertonP, richardson918 and 1 other person Thank this.
