what a wild ride man. Almost 2025 and i just read all 70 pages of this. You don’t understand the significance of testimonies like this. If you can’t make money on a bad week what’s the point. You were going in the red. What ended up happening financially with the lease? Did they come after you in any way? I was considering it at first but after I read this I’m just going to save up for a cheap truck. Good luck to you man. This was entertaining to say the least
Yeah I was a firecracker of raw emotion back then. Kinda wish I had been more level-headed but at least my experience accurately describes the average lease driver's frustration!
So when I turned in the truck back to SFI Phoenix, I flew home to Salt Lake and found another job working for Crete. A couple weeks later SFI sent me a bill for my remaining lease payments, which at that point I was behind on. Think it was about $2100 I needed to pay after my maintenance escrow was factored in. You can pay it all at once or pay it down monthly, and my mom came in clutch to help me pay it off. After that I was done and left Schneider and SFI on "good terms", meaning if I chose to they'd welcome me back.
