Today was an easy day. Just driving. I like those. Ran 484 miles sitting at the rest area in Malvern, AR. I stopped early still not feeling well plus I can't deliver till Monday 0700.

Made it to my fuel stop in New Caney, TX at the FJ. The people down here in TX must love their speed. I could not believe some of the posted speeds on the TX and US routes I went down. This is crazy.

Got a shower and some food time to rest still feeling yucky.

Any words of wisdom for a trainee coming to PTL?

Just keep an open mind. Listen to your trainer and learn all you can. It's not an easy job. GOOD LUCK.

    O.Henry Thanks this.

Finished my load to Houston. My next load picks up in Pasadena, TX going to New Orleans. These loads are too short they are killing my miles.

Got unloaded in New Orleans next PP picks up in Bogalusa, LA at a paper plant I think I've been there before and goes to Thomasville, GA. Before I go pickup this load they send me a swap with another driver in Slidell, LA. He needs to get home to GA. I'll take his load to Indianapolis, IN.

Right now I'm still sitting at where I delivered since the load I'm picking up will not be ready till 1800.

Are you paid .15cpm for the miles drove on the truck( you and your phase 2 partner)?

Yep,that's how it goes. The truck gets paid 30cents every mile it moves.
