You definately aren't talking to yourself driver. I've been following your updates on this thread & it helped me come to a decision. After numerous discussions with recruiting at PTL it looks like I'll be coming back to OTR with this company. As it's been 4 years I'll have to start from scratch but so be it. One of the factors is that the trucks all have APUs & even after 4 years that's still a rarity among companies to have every truck equipped for driver comfort. That'll be a big deal for me.

I appreciate the regular updates you make here & read them all. It's getting me back into the mindset after a few years of stagnation. Be safe out there.

If I may..here. couple of suggestions that may help you...since. you are a company driver you get free parts..when u r at a termial get extra bulbs trailer tail lights and those relays you mentioned..extra glad hand seals ...youll need em in larado....I have a prostar too...get everything you can!!!! Being able to fix little stuff yourself only gets u more milez......best of luck..cowboy

I think you did. I am very satisfied so far. But I am a solo driver looks like you will have to go out 30K miles with another driver.

PTL still the best choice with those APU's.

Shouldn't take long to run 30K miles with 2 drivers.

That's what I thought they were going to ask me to do. But they didn't and they also did not make me do a test drive which really surprised me. I only have about 1 year experience and had not driven in 9 months when I went to orientation.

Good luck and see you out on the road.
