    @DDRdan, think outside the box.

    Go big--or go home....as they say.

    Since you're in Missouri, you're another good potential to look into something like this company:

    Western Dairy Transport (wdtmilk.com)

    Not sure how they will respond to your earlier contractual obligations, however.

    Also, not sure how they will respond to how long you've been out of "the saddle"--to start things off, they may want you to spend some time with a trainer.

    But they will pay you while you train, and hook you up with room and board while you train, as I understand it.

    As their website shows, they have a training facility in Cabool, MO.

    What did I mean by the above, at the beginning? Well, most drivers that switch over to doing tanker duty....wish they had done so, sooner.

    I end up paying off the contract with WX. These #####es wanted me to sign a new contract for $2500 but for 6 months instead of 12 months. I only have 3 months left with the old contract so....NO!!

    My buddy works for a Company with a sweet local gig in St.Louis. I called his company and they said if I hit 30 days OTR I can join them for this local job.

    I'm looking at Landair/Convenant and maybe Schneider(they said I could be done training in 1 week). Abilene never picks up the #### phone.
