I'd do Nana's dance for you too, but she actually has rhythm. I would look like a convulsing gekko.

I'm sitting on the Phoenix yard today. It appears there isn't anything local to run, so I'll have to get my hustle on when I get back from Anaheim.

We are on shifting an we are all doing very well!!! They say we are a great group an are looking out for each other an encouraging each other to do our best. Had alot of laughs in our truck, I am with 2 of the other gys in the class. So far no serious whiplash, just a bit of stiff necks lol. Seriously we are learning fast and well. Really starting to enjoy things alot more as for now the pressure is minimal an we all can relax a bit.
Thanky all for your continued encouragement and prayers!
    Luv you gys

Well school was rather boring today, all class room videos an such, but we had a good time. We are writing our pretrips down an they are gonna look at em an let us know where we have weak areas. We "graduated" from the larger classroom to the lil one as of Monday. The new class will be starting then an will need the room. This next week is road and we are all pumped to be driving an getting shifting down. Lol we are still shifting down way to soon but that should change this coming week. Our truck broke down on the road on Fri an we took a different one out after we got back an I really liked shifing in it, somehow it was easier.
Thanky all for continuing to encourage an pray.
    Luv you gys

There are those that tell me I'm wrong.......but I find a wide difference in how different trucks shift.

I agree completely!!! Especially the training trucks cause they suffer so much abuse, they are in some form of disrepair all the time lol. Still dont know what happened to our truck, its still in the shop.

Hyas everyone! Doing well on the road training. Feel mostly comfortable shifting, yet of course the dreaded TEST word pops up and nerves start grinding lol. Wed is school test and Fri is State CDL.
    Luv you gys

Hey Wyld! Glad things have been going well for you. You will be fine with the testing. Deep breaths and have faith :)

One thing to keep in mind. State CDL examiners deal with super nervous testees on a daily basis so they're pros at helping keep drivers calm or at least calmer. I thought I did a terrible job when I road tested but the examiner obviously thought otherwise. Good luck!:biggrin_25525:

Thanky both! I think I am more nervous about the schools test lol. The state allows ya 30pts, but the school only allows 20. We have been doing better than expected, so if no curbs, then hopefully we will do oky.
Do have a question tho', they told us in class that team trucks are governed at 65mph, anyone know fer sure?
    Luv you gys.
