Going for the Gold!

Yes it was a wild week lol. Yesterday we lost all the power to the heat in the sleeper n lights etc. Spent a very cold nite then had to take it into the terminal to get fixed. Needless to say we had to tcall the load. But we are getting a reset so we will have a full set of hours to run with. I am doing better with the shifting, just when I get flustered do I grind em. Lol hubby says when I think about it I mess up, stop thinking he says with a laugh. But he's right I do fine if I don't think about it lol. Guess it comes with time. I have done 12 backs already. Weird I usually set up for alley dock without even considering setting up for straight back lol. Hubby just laughs an says you coulda set that one up for a straight n u went alley, the one you had the most trouble with.
Prob wont talk much after tomorrow evening hope to get a preplan an take off.

Got a preplan for tonight, to Loredo Tx. We know the route pretty well after our last visit to Tx. before my schooling.
Miss hearing from ya'll. Hope Nana is alright kinda worried as I havent heard from her.

Whew!! Finally got our hometime!!! Seeing grandkids for first time in over 12 years.
Boy has the last few days been rough, wind --rain, rain--wind, snow, wind--rain, rain--wind lol. Wrecks all over the road, ice, wind--rain.
Blew our antenna off the passenger side, tore wiper off passenger side. Oh did I mention wind--rain rofl.
Will be at sons for a couple of days then off we go again.
Glad to hear Nana is oky.

Well we are taking off this afternoon after a beautiful hometime with our son an daughter-in-law an grandkids. Havent heard from anyone here, which is a dissappointment, hope yas had a great Thanksgiving. Hope to be with daughter an family for Christmas.

Yes I was!!! Dang we all need a special hand signal or something to identify ourselves to others from the forum lol. Woulda loved to chat with yas. We already had a preplan when we got there which really helped, especially when we saw so many waiting. That is an interesting terminal, with the bunks an the big showers. If we didnt have the preplan we woulda taken advantage of those showers an the laundry.
