Glad to hear you are busy and doing well!! 78 degrees sounds like heaven, I am sooo ready for summer. Keeping fingers crossed that you get home for you birthday. And don't forget that wireless card!!

Not surprising not home for birthday...sigh. Oh well we are still sitting in San Antonio cant pick load up til after 5pm. Did have a hilarious side run yesterday. They had us take an empty trailer 147mi to drop it an go move some empties for Walmart. Lol dropped the empty we had an called Walmart (smart) they say you Swifties already moved the trailers, no more to move. So now we go back about 100mi an pick up an empty an go back to our spot at the flying J lol.
I was very disappointed in Dennys today, they dont give free meals cept the grandslam build yer own. They usta let ya pick what ya wanted. Things sure r changing for the worst in the world. I looked forward all year for my free meal.JustSonny Thanks this. -
Oh for the lil things to be thankful for! Finally home! Forgot what 2ply toilet paper was like! Soft snuggly bed, with memory foam. TV when we push the button lol. Hmmm oh yeah!!! A very large bathtub, with bubble bath.
Food I can actually eat with out getting the runs. Clean clothes whenever I want em. Oh yeah lectricity lol.
Well anyway it is nice to be home if even for a short while.
Had a scary incounter driving home. Was in a work zone, speeds 45 to 55mph up an down. So I am going maybe 3mph over the limit, with a line of vehicles behind me n no where to get outta the way. About 20 miles later work zone ends an I get outta the way. A flatbedder passes me, which I give no thought to an pulls in front of me. We start up a hill an he slows down so I get in passing lane to get passed him an he jerks rite in front of me! I look over in the right lane to c what the problem was n c nothing. Hmmm so I move back into the right lane an so does he. Jeezz I think an start to move back to the passing lane. He pulls out again this time right down the middle of both lanes. I am thinking what the heck!!! I hear over the CB, which I dont usually talk on but listen to, MFr if ya try to pass me I will keep cutting you off an if ya try again I will slam on my brakes MFr!!! Dang I get crawlies up my neck an was gonna reach for the CB to ask what the heck, an the Lord says no no. So I back off to 55mph n let the jerk get down the road. It was like something outta Stephen king movie, it really scared me. I guess I was on his bad side for obeying the speed limit only thing I can think of. Sigh
Well be safe all
Luv you gys -

Think I might have picked up the phone and called 911, it's idiots like that causing accidents and giving us all those nice regulations.
Not to mention it only takes 1 postal worker with a gun to make everyone look funny at the mail man, what are all the other people that were on that road saying about truck drivers now. And they aren't just saying it about that 1 driver.Wyldfyur Thanks this. -
Ya know...as he went down the road I kept looking for a police car thinking I would use channel 9 an let them know what was happening. Course as everyone knows when ya really need em ya can't find em. After Hubby woke up an I told him what happened he said why didnt ya dial 911....duh it really didnt occur to me....dang I hate brain farts!!!
Luv you gys -
congrats wyldfyur ive been driving a long time back before there was a cdl license we called it a chaufers license but it has been a long road but also entertaining i hope and wish you a prosporus career otr is a different lifestyle not everyone can cut it good luck and be safe
Wyldfyur Thanks this. -
Am glad you get to enjoy some hometime wyld.
I think you handled that incident perfect! There are alot of game playing idiots on the road and you can't let them get to you. Be safe, enjoy what your doing, and let the idiots be miserable and stressed all by themselves.

Sadly we hafta give up our Freightliner. She has over 600k miles on her an she has started chugging fuel. We are getting a 2011 International Prostar Condo. We saw her today an for only having 63,000mi on her she is pretty rough inside. Apparently her driver didnt believe in cleaning anything. She arrived here in Lewiston,,,her wipers wouldnt shut off an none of the in cab lights will work an the 12v system is out also. She is in the shop an then will have a good cleaning an then we can move in. Its a shame treating a truck like that...after all it is really your home away from home and why wouldnt someone clean their home???
