    Thanky my friends.

Yeppers...tho I have never heard the term before today...but I did my straight back 0 points did my offset 0 pts...then blew the alley dock totally. What was weird is my instructor scored the first two and then another instructor, who I am nervous around anyway, scored the alley. I dont know if that was what threw me or what but it could have been.
Anyway I can go back if they get an empty space on the 25th and go forward from there.
It was also weird cause I thot I was relaxed because we had a wonderful time earlier in the morning driving and my instructor was really please with my shifting and driving.
Oh well...I am woman hear me back lol

Am sorry wyld :biggrin_2557: But it happens. And look at it as a way to learn a little more. The school is rushed its, hard to process everything. This gives you chance to come back knowing exactly what to expect and what you need to do. I predict you will be more relaxed and kick butt :biggrin_25522: Hubby went back as well, and he never regretted it one bit.

Thanky Cookie...it is good to know I am not the only one...tho it sure feels like it. Mostly wounded pride an all...but I will know whats what up to a point and I should have the same instructor so indeed I hope to be more relaxed and be able to ace that crazy test lol. After all I wouldnt want to have a couple of trucks next to me an keep banging into em so I can put mine in the hole lol...might wake em up...but hey I have the Swifty logo so who knows. j/k:biggrin_2559::biggrin_25510::biggrin_2559:

did you pass the alley dock? if not, and have to retake it, here is what you do. FORGET putting the tail of the trailer in that 2 ft wide space. You get your trailer in, with no pull ups (maybe 1?) but get it in about half way where the testor will accept it, and just stop. You end up getting a point or two for stopping short/out of the box....a point for a pull up if yo u do. But If you try getting it perfect, you might end up with a point for going outside the barrels, another point for a pull up or two, then if you go THRU the 2ft box....you got another 2 pts....so you'll rack up 5-6 pts, where as if you just get the trailer in, and stop short, you could leave there with just 2, MINIMUM.

Lol I wish I had that option Dick. My state requires me to back the 40ft into the box and put it between the two cones in the back, my mirrors must be inside the line of the box. I am Idaho whereas the other peeps come from Washington, Montana and Oregon. Oregon hasta back like I do. I am allowed 2 pull ups and 2 get out and looks, without points added.
So are u saying I should not back the whole way? I believe that is a fail not a point off, least that is what I was told. Going out the back is also autofail.
In reality I shoulda passed the dang test, but seeing as I didnt I apparently need more work for the real world and I want it! Lol I could see myself not backed fully into a space either at shipper or truck stop and saying, oh the examiner excepted that can't you? I dont want to end up in a truck stop backed into another vehicle because I barely passed. Or worse yet killing someone cause I wanted to get out of school more than I wanted to get it right, ya know?
