Better check before you head out. Have read they are closing roads in the NE.

Heading to CA on a two stop load. My office sure does like keeping me out west. Did the same thing last time I was out. My next load should be back east so I can have some time off next week.
I don't mind running the western states at all. My office tells me they don't like keeping trucks out of their running area but I rarely see their running area.

I manage to stay west (my area) with little to no problem. Its when i come east it can be a pain to get back. Got lucky this time, took a load to PA reloaded lastnight in NJ headed to Denver, CO.

Got a text from my terminal manager today. He said he is impressed with my MPG and number of miles I have so far, highest in our office, that he is taking me off Squire pay and giving me a penny raise. Very happy about that. Nice to know they appreciate how hard I work to meet those goals.

    bigred81 and Fajo Thank this.

Heading to Idaho falls for Monday. I was supposed to be home Wednesday and I don't think that is going to happen. I told my DM to get me in by the weekend if possible.
This load has me at 78,900 lbs. I can't catch a break on these heavy loads.

Refeer side is always really going to be heavy as we haul alot of frozen goods. Im in Denver at the yard doing a reset. Monday ill head to SLC and from there to Wash. Alot of loads go east in our area from idaho falls. So you might get lucky there. If you stop by our yard go up and let them know your really trying to get home. They are a friendly bunch and your dm may have not let them know.

I was able to get empty a day early. Sitting in the door now. I will touch base with those guys in the morning. I will be sleeping at the yard tonight.
