This tranny issue is getting worse. It sounds so bad when making the range shift. I couldn't get it into 5th a couple times today. Only one more day of driving and I can put it in the shop. I'm thinking you may be right on this one fajo. Every time it makes the noise the dog looks at me accusingly; like I'm doing it on purpose or something.
Fajo Thanks this. -

My former student called me and he thought the new TMC trucks were pretty slick. I said, you know what TMC stands for right? No? Too Much Chrome. He had never heard that before and got a good laugh out of it.

The dealer in Memohis determined the tranny issue is a bad synchro. He says it has two and the one that needs to be replaced is at the rear and it has to be completely off the truck to replace. I am doing a load to my home terminal and putting it in over there and will be in a loaner for a few days.
Fajo Thanks this. -
If you are at the terminal in Olive Branch with any downtime check out Corky's BBQ. It's a couple miles away and well worth a visit.

I'm almost positive I've experienced their mouth-watering delicacies a few years ago.I concur. You should reward your taste buds and check them out!

They have a few locations around town. The one close to the terminal is in a new building off of Goodman.

They got me a loaner; an almost new Volvo auto. It has to go to the dealer too. Transmission ECU problem. It can't read what mode it is in. Reverse will not work and a moment ago I couldn't move in drive from a stoplight.

Fixed and rolling in the loaner. The auto isn't so bad I guess. Takes some getting used to though. This one backs really nice. When I drove one while training it did not back nice.
Fajo Thanks this.
