if you get the cute truck and later on decide you wanna train people do they then give you a bigger truck,

once i get some miles under my belt i wouldn't mind doing some training not sure id want someone all the time though.

if your setup to be a trainer do they pretty much keep you training all the time?

Yes, if you meet the requirements they will put you in a condo to train.

Heard a rumor they are thinking of yanking company driver trainers out of condos who go more than 90 days without picking up a trainee or student.

Could just be FMs scaring the drivers they feel are slacking off. It's part of the deal of getting a condo truck.

There's also a strong rumor that they are cutting down on the number of new hires coming in w/ CDLs.

They've done that before... They've gone for a period of time only hiring Students for PSD, and Drivers with recent verifiable OTR experiance of at least 6-8 months or more.

Nothin' like newbs with not enough time in the seat to have a clue pretending to train other newbs with even less of a clue how to be a truck driver.

Train, lets see. Give up my top bunk where I have a 3.1 cbft fridge and freezer, microwave, and toaster oven. No thanks, I enjoy sleeping In my truck when its not rolling down the road. Not to mention I have no intention of putting my life or others for that matter in someone else's hands. It would take YEARS for me to even think I was close to being able to train.
